Can you relate to this?
“Saying no is not an option. I’m
going to eat that thing I want,
and no one is going to stop me.”
Does this happen to you? All those voices that
“know better” are chiming in to tell you this is
bad for you, you shouldn’t eat it, you know
better, you’ll gain weight, you’ll feel awful
later, you should have more self control, etc,
etc, etc.
Those voices are yours. *You* are telling yourself
all this, even if you’re echoing other voices from
your past. But there’s a stronger energy in you, a
louder voice, one that would make excuses, lie,
hide, manipulate, do whatever it takes to get what
you want, and that’s the one that wins.
And you’re left with the consequences.
You’re left with the body that is fatter than you
want it to be, or the guts that hurt, or the
difficulty breathing, or whatever symptoms you get
when you eat what you “shouldn’t.”
You’re left with the shame, guilt, disgust, low
self esteem because once again you betrayed your
own intentions to be kind to yourself.
And you get to feel the stress of always being at
war with yourself.
I’m speaking from personal experience here, as
well as witnessing so many others who struggle
with food and alcohol issues.
If you can relate, watch this video.

You can participate, and feel better immediately.
Or, you can just watch, and see if it’s relevant
to you.
I found it very moving, and very useful.
The video is of EFT expert Carol Look using
EFT Tapping with an audience member at a live
event called “The Tapping Experience”, to help
her overcome her overpowering food cravings.
Here’s what I recommend…
Watch the video and as you do, do the EFT Tapping
along with them. Even if you don’t know how to
do Tapping just copy what they’re doing and
repeat what they’re saying as if you were
one of the members of the audience.
And as you do you’ll begin to feel how effective
EFT Tapping is in helping people get to the
root cause of food and weight issues and how
it is used to resolve these issues quickly.

You probably already know that your food issues
aren’t about the food…
I find it helpful to know how much I’m not alone
with the issues they ARE about. You, too?
This is some powerful stuff that can have an
immediate impact on your life.

Wishing you the priceless blessing of loving and
accepting yourself just as you are.

Dr. Alexandra Gayek
P.S. – Even if you’re not new to me and SOBW, you
may still believe that they key to dealing with
weight issues is to eat less and exercise more.
According to the medical literature, it’s not
necessarily true, even if you CAN do it
consistently.
Whether for you, it’s about changing your
behavior, changing your thoughts, or both, this
may help.
