Hi all,
I received this reply to the last post, The Help That Comes,
that I wanted to share here so we could all be part of the
conversation:
It’s a great story, one worth hearing again and again.
Have you tapped into a good way to help Syrian
refugees, especially the children (other than
prayer)…and now the Ukraine?Best to you, Antoinette
Antoinette,
The idea that seems most in alignment for me is to see
all those people as the magnificent, powerful creators
they are, fully alive in the combination of their
physical and nonphysical aspects, and to simultaneously
see myself as magnificent, joining them energetically
in the place of power and love.
You know, joining them in their power and strength and
love.
To me, this seems so much more helpful than seeing them
as struggling or suffering victims.
When I use tapping, I can tap on my temptation to go
into my drama of my own helplessness, my desire to
rescue, the temptation to see only their suffering.
My perspective is that whenever I get into seeing
others as victims, or perpetrators, I create
separation. What I believe is most helpful is to create
unity instead. To see us as all in this together, all
taking responsibility for creating something from where
we are, with no blame, only sharing.
What do you think?
Here’s Antoinette’s reply (I don’t normally do this, but she had trouble posting her comment.)
You may post my reply on your blog. It wouldn’t read my typing when I attempted to post a comment. I could read your reply, though, and it’s so right on.
You reminded me that the highest form of prayer is to see the God power in everyone, sometimes latent, but ever able to be awakened to its own wonder and presence and full potential. This is what is done in important healing modalities…an individual doing this for millions might seem a little watered down, but if enough of us do this, things can (and will) change. It might be helpful to allow an extra amount of time daily to focus on these beleaguered peoples, seeing Divine Energy washing away the stress and fear, opening the way for positive expressions toward self and others. Thank you for your wisdom. Why not apply what I know works for myself and other individuals in one-on-one situations to the masses? And encourage others to do likewise?
Antoinette,
Thanks so much for sharing what works for you, and for your lovely images and pearls of wisdom!
What works best for me is kind of along the lines of what Wallace Wattles taught in “The Science of Being Well.” My goal is to sever any relationship with the idea that they are beleaguered, that they need washing, that their power is latent, and instead build a relationship solely with their power, love, and brilliance. (In EFT, this would be loving myself even though I have fed my energy to those other ideas, and “letting go” of those ideas, then choosing instead what I want to see, create, attract.)
Since I believe in the law of attraction, I’m trying to put all my attention on what I really want, while abandoning any attention on the aspects I don’t want. So, I’m working on my image of people all around the world, including my own self, as being resourceful, connected, happy, satisfied, free, because those are the seeds I want to water.
We’re all in this together!
With love and appreciation,
Alexandra
