New Video: Brilliant Doctor

Even if they don’t exactly describe your beliefs,
they’re probably not new concepts to you:

– That your body is a system within a non-physical
system, all working together as a whole.

– That you are more than the sum of your parts,
and have an indwelling spirit.

– That being well involves both your thoughts and
your behavior, and also involves something
greater than “you.”

But when you go to a doctor, you may not be looking
for a spiritual explanation or approach.

More likely, you’re probably looking for a simple,
concrete explanation of the physical cause of your
suffering, and a simple, straightforward program to
help you get rapid relief and a long term cure.

When a doctor can offer this, it’s easy to gain
confidence in both your doctor’s ability to guide
you and your own ability to get well.

My colleague Dr. Mark Hyman does a brilliant job of
explaining your part in wellness from a simple,
practical, physical perspective. It’s a path to
health he learned as a result of his own healing
journey from serious chronic illness.

His own story, and the stories he tells in the video
about his patients, are inspiring, and worth hearing.

His explanation of the importance of dealing with
both the mental and action aspects of health fit
nicely with “The Science of Being Well.”

I think you’ll enjoy him.

P.S. This free video is part two of an excellent
series I hope you are enjoying. If you missed the
video with Louise Hay, be sure to watch that one
too!

The series will culminate in a fabulous, free,
multi-day event, the Tapping World Summit, that
has been just superb each of the past four years.

You can get your complimentary ticket for this
wonderful online event on the same page as the
videos.

  1. This one is worth discussion, I think. You’ll learn something about your beliefs by how you respond to the video. If you thought you were a Science of Being Well devotee, but find yourself nodding, feeling a sense of relief, wondering if he will take you on as a patient, it’s good for you to know.

I think most of us would opt for the “easy solution” of having a brilliant doctor figure out our problems, fix us or tell us just what to do–something easy, concrete, finite– and be well. But notice where the power is in that relationship.

Even if the proposed solution includes having someone help you with the tapping part–which I do myself from time to time–what I really wish for you is to accept the full mantle of power to create your own reality, including the reality of your health.

That’s why I fully recommend that you participate in the upcoming Tapping World Summit–so you can learn the skill yourself, or reinforce it if you’re already a practitioner as I am.
